The Client: Leona Lewis

The Brief: To handcraft a unique album cover, for tour website and poster roll out.

 

Design Solution: The record cover was developed using water, a steady hand and acrylic ink. The ink was dropped into a fish tank of water with the combination photographed as it expanded. A mixture of colours was created. The main image chosen is a representation of a beating heart, with the blue shadowing depicting oxygen, essential to human existence. The flow of the ink relates to the flow of the music and captures the essence of the songs.
